Mythical Beasts
Two pieces from an exhibition called Mythical Beasts.
These Mythical Beasts were created for an exhibition featuring work by members of Illustrators Ireland. I based my images around my love of all things watery and ocean-based. The beasts I chose were the Kraken and Triton.
Both of these new illustrations are a digital collage, where I combined my drawings with other paintings from the Rijksmuseum catalog. And yes this is perfectly legal and above board :) – the Rijksmuseum have released thousands of images into the public domain and are actively encouraging people to do things with the images.
