Sounds Damn Fine
Wimoweh - The Lion Sleeps Tonight was my choice of song to illustrate for the Sounds Damn Fine exhibition in Dublin.
Sounds Damn Fine’s exhibition of artwork featured original work “from 30 of Dublin’s hottest artists” and took place in December 2013 at Block T in Smithfield. I was delighted to be one of those "hottest artists" :)
The theme of the show was iconic song lyrics. For my illustration I chose the “Wimoweh” song, AKA The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Each print was beautifully and carefully pulled by hand by the guys at Damn Fine Print.
